1 Introduction

1.1 Welcome

Welcome to the Standard Bots RO2 Welding System Manual.

This guide covers everything you need to set up and operate a robotic MIG welding cell using the Standard Bots RO2 and the Miller Auto DeltaWeld™ 350 Basic power source. Whether you’re an integrator building a cell from scratch or an operator getting a system up and running, this manual is designed to walk you through the process from start to finish.

The RO2 and Auto DeltaWeld 350 communicate over Modbus TCP, and all I/O mapping between the two systems comes preconfigured. That means your job is to make the physical connections, set IP addresses, activate the connection, and start welding.

If you ever need help along the way, we’re here to assist.
